COMMON QUESTIONS:

Q1.  Where do I go to make up work?

  • Click on this link:  Chronological List of Activities and Assignments
  • Find the date(s) in which you were absent
  • Scroll down to the missed activity, story, presentation, etc.
  • Click on the link to a handout, presentation, or webpage.
  • If you get to, let's say, the short story page, find the name of the story and click on the lesson plan.
  • Lesson plans will include links to notes, activities, Powerpoint presentations, and handouts on that story.
  • You can view or download and print it.

Q2.  I don't have Microsoft PowerPoint; how can I view your Powerpoint presentations? 

Q3.  I can't view the comments you made on my essay.  How do I do this?

  •  To view your grade and comments I made for your paper:
    • Open your paper in Microsoft Word.
    •  Save your paper to your computer.
    •  Click on View Menu then “Print Layout.”
    •  Click on View Menu then “Toolbars,” then click “Reviewing.”
    •  Click on View Menu then “Mark up.” 
    •  Click on View Menu then “Toolbars,” then click “Forms.”
    •  In the “Forms” toolbar that now appears at the top of your screen,make sure the little “Pad Lock” icon is clicked  to unprotect the rubric form that I have attached to your paper. 
    •  Click “Tools,” then “Options,” then “Edit.”
    • Uncheck the box that reads, “CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink.”
    • If you are still having problems, email me or talk to me in class, and I will help you through the process.
