HERE IS THE ON-GOING VOCABULARY LIST:

I will continuously update this list as we add new words. 

Periodically throughout the semester, I will give you vocabulary tests in which I will randomly select about 12-15 words from the entire list.  You will select 5 of those words and write sentences demonstrating the word's meaning.

 Literature Cicles - Make-Up Form  Remember you must complete all 4 roles.  However, you will only have to complete 2 questions, 2 passages, 2 connections, and 1 illustration.  Turn in your completed form to me on the day in which you return to school.

RUBRICS FOR WRITING ASSIGNMENTS

SUBMIT ASSIGNMENTS ELECTRONICALLY - NO PAPER!

 

To view your grade and comments I made for your paper:

 

Open your paper in Microsoft Word.

 

 Save your paper to your computer.

 

 Click on View Menu then “Print Layout.”

 

 Click on View Menu then “Toolbars,” then click “Reviewing.”

 

 Click on View Menu then “Mark up.” 

 

 Click on View Menu then “Toolbars,” then click “Forms.”

 

 In the “Forms” toolbar that now appears at the top of your screen,make sure the little “Pad Lock” icon is clicked  to unprotect the rubric form that I have attached to your paper. 

 

 Click “Tools,” then “Options,” then “Edit.”

 

Uncheck the box that reads, “CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink.”

 

If you are still having problems, email me or talk to me in class, and I will help you through the process.
